Troy Middle School Clubs and Activities

  • Open to all Troy Middle School students.

    Archery Club is a fun team building, competitive club that participates in 2-5 National Archery in Schools Program competitions around Missouri and neighboring states.

  • Open to all Troy Middle School students.

    This will be a fun, pressure free way to explore types of art that are not taught in art class.

    Meeting Dates: First Thursday of every Month (first meeting, Sept. 1st)

  • Battle of the Books is a trivia-style competition with teams of 4-6 students. Each member reads at least three award nominees (Mark Twain nominees for 6th grade and Truman nominees for 7th/8th grades) by Feb 1 to participate. There is a semi-final round in February. The top 1-2 teams go to the Finals, competing against other teams throughout the district (7th/8th grade teams compete against schools in Wentzville and Fort Zumwalt schools).

    Meeting Dates: Wednesdays (6th grade, 2nd/4th Wed.; 7/8th grades, 1st/3rd Wed.)

  • Open to all Troy Middle School students. 

    This club will work with students to build social, problem-solving, and relational skills through board games.

    This will be an opportunity to develop your theatrical skills and learn the basics of drama through fun activities and readings.

  • Open to all 7th & 8th grade students

    Epsilon Beta’s mission is to share the love of reading with others & to help maintain an orderly library at Troy Middle school. Also known as The Library Club, members help with displays and book fairs, keep shelves straight, lead reading activities, choose books & plan events.

  • Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America helps promote growth and leadership as we work to make a difference. Using the group's talents and interests, we will work on some fun projects to impact our school and community.

    Troy Middle School Robotics competes in the VEX Robotics competitions. We use the VEX EDR the middle school and high school VEX competition.

  • Open to 7th and 8th grade Troy Middle School and Troy South Middle School

    Tonali-T is a competitive show choir that combines Troy Middle School and Troy South Middle School students.  Auditions are held in the spring for the next school year. Students must be enrolled in choir to participate.  Look for more information throughout the year & sign up for tryouts.

    Fee: $450.00, includes clothing & travel costs.  Other fees may apply.

  • Open to all students by application. 

    The focus of the Student Leadership Group is on community service, being a positive role model, and supporting school events, staff, and students. Members will give new student tours, help plan events, and give feedback to make Troy Middle School a great place. Students must complete an application and return it to the Counseling Office by September 15th.

  • Open to all Troy Middle School students.

    The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. It is a national organization that has regional, state, and national competitions.

    Technology Student Association Meeting Dates: once a month on Thursdays (August 22nd first meeting)

  • Open to all students.

    Yearbook club is a student focused club where the students collaborate to create the Troy Middle School yearbook. We will discuss the publication during our monthly meetings, sort/arrange photos, and design our school's yearbook. Students will be given opportunities to use district provided cameras to take photos of various sporting events, clubs, and daily activities throughout the school year. Along with photo taking, we will do student and staff interviews about our school year. There may be opportunities outside school hours where students can take photos at various events for submission to the yearbook club. These are not mandatory events, and parents/guardians will be responsible for providing transportation for their students.
