Hello Trojan Students and Families,

Allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Ashley Higgins, Troy Middle School Principal.  I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to foster a positive learning environment for the success of all students.  

Prior to serving as Principal for Troy Middle School, I have served students, staff, and families as a high school and middle school special education and math teacher, district instructional facilitator, and adult education director, and for the past five years, I have served as an assistant principal and athletic director.  

I bring to Troy Middle School a commitment to the success of all students, a passion for the development of excellence in teaching and learning, and a promise to do my best for and with you each day.  I have a strong belief that it takes all of the stakeholders working together to foster a learning environment where all students will flourish.  I am excited and eager to get to know and work with each of you to promote and fulfill the Lincoln County R-III School District’s mission of “educating students to achieve excellence through exemplary experiences, trusting relationships, and superior instruction.”

I wanted to share some great ways to stay in touch with what is happening at school.  

1. Become a parent observer on Canvas so you know what is happening in your Trojan’s classes.  
2. Be sure to have the Parent Square App.  Classroom, school, club, and team information will all be shared via Parent Square.
